The IT market in Brazil
With the growing pressure for companies to embrace the digitalization of processes, the technology area has become increasingly important and indispensable – a fact that has become even more pronounced with the coronavirus pandemic.
New areas are emerging rapidly, which results in a high demand for professionals in the sector – a positive point, as there is no shortage of work but, at the same time, there are not enough qualified professionals to fill these positions. As a result, companies in the sector are starting to value their employees even more, who have become indispensable to maintaining innovation and modernization within organizations.
Regarding the situation of women in the Brazilian IT market, the GPTW survey revealed that only 22% occupy senior leadership positions and only 5% hold a CEO position.
The GPTW Award
O Great Place to Work It is held in more than 53 countries and its mission is to reward companies that transform the work environment.
