2021 started with new features on the Mercado Eletrônico Marketplace platform.

From 01/02/2021, you will notice some changes in the information presented in your quote grid: when accessing quotes on the platform, buyers will also be able to see responses from public suppliers (public quotes).

Previously, public quotes were available in the green banner at the top of the document.

Now, information about suppliers from the private database, marketplace guests, ME assignments and public responses will be on the same grid, and can be ordered according to your preference.

In addition to this change, our UX team also developed new columns and grouped existing ones to make it easier to view all quote information.

5 changes to the Quotation grid

1. Inclusion of the “Origin” column

Indicates the type of supplier input in the quote. Whether the guest is from the private base, a marketplace guest, entered through ME assignment or a public quote response.

 

2. Inclusion of the “Map” column

Using the “view” button, which will be displayed for public quote responses, the buyer will be able to insert the responses of these suppliers into the comparative map, or access the response link through the “Responded” column.

 

3. Inclusion in the “Options” menu of the Public Responses Ranking

The buyer will be able to view the ranking and indicators of the suppliers that responded to the public quotation process before displaying them on the map.

 

4. Merge the “Answered” and “Number of Responses” columns

The information “date of last response” and “number of responses” will be displayed in the same column. The link to the supplier’s response will also be displayed there.

 

5. Merge the “Items” and “Inserted Items” columns

The information “number of items answered” and “number of items entered” by suppliers will be presented in the same column.

More options, more opportunities for good business

The new quotation grid aims to facilitate and optimize the process of viewing public responses and, consequently, increase your chances of doing new and good business.

After all, the more responses you see, the more options you have to choose from for your B2B purchases.

 

Easy to view all available quote options

Since public quote responses are displayed in the same grid as invited suppliers, the buyer no longer has to access the banner to add the supplier(s) to the quote and then view the response.

In other words, this will save time in day-to-day processes.

 

Better visualization and organization of information

By grouping and creating some columns, the buyer gains organization in their work routine and can view all related information more clearly.

 

How to view Public Quote responses in the new grid

To view the response from public suppliers (public quotation), simply click on the “View” button, which will be displayed in the “Map” column.

With this action, the supplier's response will be displayed on the comparison map and in the price collection, and the response will be enabled for individual viewing in the “Responded” column.

If you want to view the ranking of public responses and/or supplier indicators, simply access Options > Public Responses Ranking to open the modal with the information.
