O Electronic Market is celebrating its silver anniversary. And among so many achievements, the greatest of them is, without a doubt, being able to count on such committed, experienced people who are willing to foster innovation within the company.
Therefore, as a way of celebrating this special date, we interviewed the 8 oldest ME employees, who certainly have many stories to tell.
In the last post, we interviewed the Marketing Manager, Klyvian, and now it's Cintia's turn.
Check it out!
13 is the lucky number
Cintia Gomes has been working at Mercado Eletrônico for 13 years. A lot has changed since 2006 and today, Cintia is the solutions coordinator in the project area, being one of the people responsible for implementing ME solutions.
ME: Have you ever changed areas? What has your trajectory been within the company so far?
Cynthia: Over the course of my 13 years working at ME, I have worked in several areas and performed various functions. If I were to draw it, my timeline within the company would look like this:
- 2006 – Level 1 Support
- 2007 – Level 2 Support
- 2008 – Delivery Manager
- 2010 – Solutions Consultant
- 2014 – Project Manager
- 2017 – Product Owner
- 2018 – Solutions Coordinator
ME: Why do you think you have been at the same company for so many years, at a time when professional unrest is so great?
Cynthia: I have always been on the move within Mercado Eletrônico. I have worked in several areas and have contact with practically all departments in the company. This interaction with other universes and people gives me the feeling of constantly working in different companies within the same organization.
ME: What was the most memorable moment you experienced at the company?
Cynthia: It was during my maternity leave, when the company was going through a difficult time during the crisis. I received a call from my manager to talk about my career. I was very apprehensive, but the result was surprising, because in addition to reassuring me about my return, I also received a new job offer. It was at that moment that I realized I was in the right place.
ME: In your opinion, what is the most positive factor about working at Mercado Eletrônico?
Cynthia: The collaborative environment that ME provides is incredible. Here, everyone really listens to you and values your work. It is very noticeable where your work contributes to the cogs in this wheel.
ME: During your career at the company, many things have probably happened in your personal life as well. Can you tell us about some of your main achievements?
Cynthia: During these 13 years, many things have happened in my life. One of them was flying for the first time to implement a project for a client. In addition, I got married, bought my own apartment, got an MBA, became a mother and visited 12 states in Brazil and 5 countries in South America.
This was the fifth post in a series of interviews with Mercado Eletrônico’s oldest employees. Thank you, Cintia, for sharing a little bit about your journey with us!
