Second edition of the ME B2B Summit focuses on knowledge and technological innovations for the B2B purchasing market

If the purchasing area previously had an operational focus, today companies are increasingly investing in the strategic potential of the sector. To reinforce this issue, Electronic Market decided to promote, with the curation of HSM, the second edition of ME B2B Summit. The event will bring together industry professionals to discuss the main trends in B2B e-commerce and bring practices and expectations of this market to business executives.

The event will take place on September 19th, at Theatro NET and in two Kinoplex movie theaters, both located on the 5th floor of the Vila Olímpia shopping mall, in São Paulo, to facilitate access and integration for all participants.

Me B2B Summit: A Journey Beyond Digital for Buyers and Suppliers

This year, the ME B2B Summit presents the theme “a journey beyond digital” with lectures that will propose a true digital transformation in the market and in the mindset of corporate businesses. In addition, the second edition brings a great novelty: buyers and suppliers gathered at the same event.

In the morning, the audiences divide up to discuss topics related to their businesses. In the afternoon, they come together to attend lectures together, participate in debate panels and do a lot of networking.

According to Eduardo Nader, CEO of Mercado Eletrônico, B2B has undergone significant transformations and companies have begun to view e-business from a more strategic perspective. “It is necessary to invest in agile and intelligent processes, and technology is essential for business competitiveness. At the ME B2B Summit, participants will have the opportunity to discuss current issues, acquire a wealth of knowledge and exchange experiences, with the aim of increasing management efficiency.”

The 2019 edition already has confirmed lectures, which will present different subjects to teach, inspire and transform the minds of participants.

Among the topics already confirmed are “Risk management in business: how to prepare a resilient organization”, “How companies are preparing for Purchasing 4.0”, “What large companies value when choosing a supplier”, “Fostering long-term relationships between buyers and suppliers to generate business value” and “Negotiation: tactics and tricks that you may never have noticed”.

Topics that promote a debate about the future and stimulate reflection will also be present at the event, such as “Pendulum movement of innovation: what will be valuable and what will be left for human beings to do”, “Trust and collaboration in postmodern management”, “Reframing: learning to resignify events” and “Digital Weapons x Digital Soul: building relationships in the new era.

The first edition was a great success. According to a survey conducted with participants, the event received a score of 9 and 99% of its expectations were met. “Mercado Eletrônico was born from the desire to promote business between companies in a simple, intelligent and sustainable way through technology and innovation. Our goal with the ME B2B Summit is to offer an experience rich in knowledge and networking so that companies can obtain the best results”, adds Nader.
