Mercado Eletrônico, a company specializing in B2B e-commerce solutions in Latin America, has expanded its channel program and now has around 60 partners throughout Brazil. The goal is to achieve more efficient results for all parties involved and ensure that revenue from this area represents 20% of the company's revenue.

According to Paulo Rosanova, channel director at Mercado Eletrônico, despite occupying a prominent position in the B2B market, physical limitations make access to some regions of Brazil difficult and costly for ME.
“This is when partners come into play, companies located in regions such as the interior of São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro and Paraná, for example, which add to the business with their local influence and also benefit from recommendations made by Mercado Eletrônico.” adds Paulo.
With the restructuring, a 30% growth in business carried out by the program is expected. channels, as specialized companies develop more assertive processes through their local operations.
The new configuration is divided into three main models. Finders – partners who support the ME by indicating the platform to potential clients or, on the contrary, by presenting the company with a list of leads; Resellers – these partners have goals to achieve and, with the ME’s approval, resell the company’s services to new clients; Implementers – companies that collaborate with the Electronic Market by installing the platform on clients who have signed the contract. Some partners operate in more than one model.
Partner companies
Among the new companies joining the team of partners are Viceri, located in Jundiaí, which will be a referral partner (finder) and implementation partner for ME solutions, with the main objective of expanding the portfolio of solutions, bringing more options to its customer base in areas where it does not currently operate; SLMIT, a referral partner located in Sumarézinho, in the interior of the state of São Paulo, which was looking for a national solution and found in ME a purchasing platform that follows all compliance and management rules and is easy to audit. Another company joining the team of partners is CoreforV, from São Paulo, which is committed to accelerating ME projects with a collaborative and rapid implementation approach.
In addition to them, Núcleo, from São Paulo, which advises clients by offering a more strategic view in an extremely voluminous and operational purchasing reality, and Wave Consulting, which is based in Londrina (PR) and, with the partnership, hopes to open new paths for services provided in strategic sourcing and data sanitation, also began to join the group.
