Electronic Market presents its Quarterly Meeting Q2-2022

On July 29th, Mercado Eletrônico held its Quarterly Meeting for the 07nd quarter of 2, with the presentation of the main results of the areas and the planning of actions for the next period.

The event was held in a hybrid and live format, for employees from Brazil, Portugal, Mexico and the USA, and brought together part of the team in a special space at Cervejaria Nacional, in Pinheiros, SP.

Eduardo Nader, CEO of ME, reinforced that one of the reasons for the meeting is to share, in a transparent way, the company's performance and strategies for the following months.

We currently have the best team, innovative technology and major national and international clients. We are in the best phase of the Electronic Market since its existence 28 years ago”, says Eduardo Nader.

Launch of ME B2B Summit 2022 is highlighted by the Marketing team

The launch of the 4th edition of ME B2B Summit, back in the in-person format, at Teatro Bradesco, SP, was the main news from the Marketing team.

The international expansion of the area's strategies was also one of the highlights. Strengthening these actions has proven important for winning new business.

Other initiatives of the quarter were: new episodes of ME Cast, participation in the RJ Purchasing Forum events, with the client's case Vibra Energy , ERP Summit and Supply Chain Marathon. In addition, Mercado Eletrônico was present at the SCM Conference, in Portugal.

People & Management: DiversiDEV ME Program selects 30 people

O DiversiDEV ME, a scholarship program for the Full Stack .NET Web Programming course, offered 30 vacancies, 20 for immediate hiring of interns to work with Back-End and 10 for the general public, of which 5 were reserved for relatives of Mercado Eletrônico employees.

More than 60% of participants identified as non-white people and 25% as LGPBTQIAP+. In addition, the selected audience came from different states in the country, strengthening the promotion of diversity and plurality in the company.

Another highlight was the Digital Transformation Program for employees, which featured eight lectures on technology-related topics and will cover many other topics until October.

During the period, other events were also held, such as Mother's Day, a special Live for Mexico and Portugal, and Diversity Week.

Presentation of Agile Teams

Agile Teams highlighted their project advancements to offer ME customers a fantastic experience, with more scalability, performance and security.

One of the highlights was the strengthening of integration between all teams, resulting in improvements to the journeys of buyers and suppliers on the platforms.

Product Team

With a focus on providing a fantastic experience to our customers, the Product team emphasized that they are acting more intelligently, with data-driven decisions.

Through Analytics, the team is mapping the entire journey and behavior of users, in addition to the transactional performance of the platform, among other important topics for the evolution of our solutions.

UX/UI Design Team

To provide better usability and experiences to users of the ME platform, the Design Team developed the new “Eletro Design System” project, a set of standardized graphic elements, which will guide improvements in UX and complementary teams.

Service Team

The Support team highlighted the implementation of the Zendesk support platform to offer users support and follow-up on technical support needs.

From now on, all communication channels are centralized in a single tool with the purpose of providing a differentiated service experience.

Among the possibilities available on the portal we have the possibility to request support through different channels, such as telephone, WhatsApp, chat and email, monitoring of open calls and, also, access to a knowledge base with materials created to clarify quick doubts and optimize the use of the platform.

Hidrovias do Brasil is the guest of the Quarterly Meeting Q2-2022

Priscila Padilha, Supply Manager at Hidrovias do Brasil, a Mercado Eletrônico client, was the guest of this edition to talk about her experience using ME solutions.

Priscila shared how the area's digital transformation took place, with the implementation of the e-procurement and SRM (Supplier Relationship Management) tool, which had the main objective of strengthening the company's governance.

Among the main benefits achieved with the platform, Priscila highlighted: standardization and automation of processes, compliance with ESG (environmental social and corporate governance) criteria in the selection and qualification of suppliers, and visibility and control of demands.
