The first quarterly meeting of 2024, referring to the last quarter of 2023, took place on February 02. With live transmission for all employees in Brazil, Portugal, Mexico and the USA, the teams presented the results of the period, the main highlights of 02 and the initiatives planned for the next quarter.
Eduardo Nader, CEO of Mercado Eletrônico, presented the strategy for the year, focusing on quality and fantastic customer experience, and thanked all employees for the journey undertaken in 2023. He also highlighted that the company's success is a reflection of the commitment and motivation of each employee.

People & Management Initiatives
The People & Management team highlighted the initiatives that stood out the most in 2023. The 2nd edition of DiverseDEV, a scholarship project 100% subsidized by the Ministry of Education, received more than 8 thousand applications. Currently, the scholarship holders already hired are in the process of training in the Back-End Programming course at Ada Tech and, upon completion, will begin the internship phase.
Still focusing on people first, in 2023, ME won the main HR awards in the country: Best Companies to Work For 2023 (GPTW Brazil 2023), Best Companies to Work for in IT (GPTW IT 2023), Best Companies to Work for in São Paulo (GPTW SP 2023) e Amazing Places to Work 2023.
Diversity is an important part of Mercado Eletrônico's culture. Therefore, in 2024, one of the goals is to strengthen the DiverseME program, which aims to promote an increasingly welcoming and respectful work environment for our diverse talents.
