This Tuesday (03/12), Mercado Eletrônico won the award Great Place to Work Sao Paulo and was among the 20 best companies to work for in the capital.

The award ceremony took place at Tivoli Mofarrej and brought together representatives of small, medium and large businesses from the State of São Paulo. A total of 518 companies participated, of which only 100 were certified as GPTW. This is the first edition of the award in São Paulo, which was divided between companies from the interior and the capital. Mercado Eletrônico was among the 20 best companies to work for in the medium-sized category.

The survey conducted with employees obtained a 90% satisfaction rate, a great achievement for the ME HR team, which takes its main value “People First” seriously.

The GPTW São Paulo award was the company's fourth major recognition this year, which had already won the Great Place to Work Brazil, Great Place to Work TI and Você S/A awards, all of which highlight the Best Companies to Work For Adriana Oliveira, HR Director at Mercado Eletrônico, “Winning all these awards is the certainty that we are on the right track. Our employees are able to see our work on a daily basis and the results are coming naturally, with engagement, collaboration and results for the business.”

2019: a year of many awards for the Electronic Market

GPTW Brazil

O GPTW The event is held in 53 countries and lists, in its rankings, the companies that offer a standard of excellence and transformative work environments to their employees. This year, 2645 companies were evaluated and only 150 received the trophy. Mercado Eletrônico was awarded in the Best Companies to Work For Ranking – Medium-Sized Multinationals 2019. The event took place on August 12, in a ceremony at Espaço das Américas for 1,4 people, in São Paulo (SP).

On October 17th of this year, Mercado Eletrônico received the award GPTW Technology and entered the 2019 ranking of the 110 best companies in the country in this important segment, which continues to grow.

The awards ceremony took place at the Transamerica Expo Center and brought together representatives from small, medium and large businesses. In the medium-sized category, Mercado Eletrônico competed with 70 other companies and came in 28th place.

On November 19th, the awards ceremony took place VOCÊ S/A Guide – The 150 Best Companies to Work For, which lists the companies that stood out most in people management and that managed to provide a good organizational environment during 2019.

The event was held in São Paulo, at the Opus Theater, and brought a big surprise. For the first time, Mercado Eletrônico was awarded as one of the best companies to work for, according to a survey conducted by the magazine in partnership with the Fundação Instituto de Administração (FIA). ME ranked 5th in the Technology & Computing segment.

2019 was a busy year for the HR team, who worked hard to make a splash at all the awards ceremonies, and an exciting year for employees, who were able to enjoy several celebrations throughout the year.
