Mercado Eletrônico, a leader in B2B e-commerce solutions in Latin America, was elected one of the most incredible places to work in Brazil in 2020, according to a survey carried out by FIA Employee Experience (i-FEEx) in partnership with UOL.
The award was announced on Tuesday (01/12) and the company earned its place among the 100 companies in the ranking. Four indexes were analyzed for the award: organizational climate, people management, leadership and CEO.
The survey was conducted based on the opinions of employees, who submitted their responses in an online form.

The Amazing Places to Work Award
A award is in its first edition and took place 100% online, with the participation of leaders from small, medium and large companies.
The organizational climate index analyzed internal communication, processes and organization, recognition and rewards, among other aspects. The indicator on people management evaluated the set of rules used in structuring the HR area and how this is passed on to other sectors of the organization.
In the leadership index, basic points about the relationship between manager and employee were taken into consideration, such as constructive feedback, leader consistency and, also, the leadership style applied.
Finally, the CEO index analyzed three indicators: personal exposure, level of trust of employees in the professional and evaluation of management.
Electronic Market remained close even from a distance
During this pandemic, Mercado Eletrônico promoted actions that brought its employees even closer, keeping them safe and well served even with social distancing and the implementation of remote work.
According to the company's Human Resources Director, Adriana Oliveira, among the actions carried out in recent months are the flu vaccination and the carrying out of the rapid Covid-19 test in a drive-thru system, as well as the release of office chairs for employees to work from home.
“The company also offers a 'home office voucher' so that everyone can buy materials that help them with their day-to-day remote work and R$70,00 per month to help with internet expenses,” he comments.
Individual perspective and personalized support for each employee
According to Adriana Oliveira, the award reflects one of the company's main pillars, which is the care it takes with its team.
“Mercado Eletrônico opted for an individual approach and sought to offer personalized support to each employee. In addition, all managers were instructed to talk to their teams and understand their needs, both personal and professional, at this unique time.”
The FIA Employee Experience awards ceremony for the most incredible places to work in Brazil was held virtually and broadcast live on the Uol channel on YouTube.
In 2020, Mercado Eletrônico also won the GPTW Woman, GPTW Brazil e GPTW IT.
