The first Friday of August was reserved for the Electronic Market Quarterly Meeting, an event that presents the results of the last quarter to all employees and takes the opportunity to set goals for the future.
The event lasted all day and had several highlights. Check it out!
Electronic Market completes 25 years of history
The CEO of Mercado Eletrônico, Eduardo Nader, began the Q2 Quarterly Meeting by commenting on the company's 25th anniversary, which took place last July.
According to Nader, it is a great source of pride to see the organization's progressive growth and the responsible work of so many professionals, who help the company to experience the best moment in its history in the Brazilian and international markets on a daily basis.
Climate Survey – Satisfaction Overview
Adriana Olive tree, HR Director at Mercado Eletrônico, presented the company's climate survey, which, fortunately, always shows good results.
Among the data measured in the survey, which takes place quarterly, some draw a lot of attention for always being at the top:
- 94% of employees are satisfied working at ME.
- 93% would recommend ME as a great place to work.
- 93% say they are proud to tell their friends and family that they work at Mercado Eletrônico.
Adriana closed her presentation with a surprise: the satisfaction rating from the survey “You Inc., which was the best of all in the last 7 years of participation: 92,4%.
ME Marketing invests in actions to train the Purchasing market
Klyvian Flores, ME's Marketing Manager, explained the initiatives the company is taking to generate qualified content for the purchasing market.
One of them was the Connection Purchases, a B2B talk show that invites CPOs from large organizations to talk about the main challenges of business-to-business commerce. The guest on the first episode was Gabriella spinola, head of purchasing for South America at Accor, who can now be watched in full on ME's YouTube channel.
In parallel, the Marketing team is developing actions to celebrate 25 years of the company, which will tell the story of the purchasing area, from 1994 to the present day.
The idea is to show the evolution and challenges of the segment, which was previously known for “putting out fires” and has now become increasingly strategic. The team is working on some very interesting material that will soon be available online.
ME B2B Summit in final preparations
Klyvian Flores took the opportunity to remember that the ME B2B Summit, the benchmark event for B2B e-commerce, is coming. This year, the theme will be “a journey beyond digital” and will propose a unique format in B2B: bringing together buyers and sellers at the same event.
Klyvian said that the speaker schedule is already complete and available on official website. There will be more than 10 topics in 8 hours of content with recognized names in the Brazilian market, such as Walter Longo, Arthur Igreja, Poliana Abreu and several purchasing directors from large companies.
The event will take place on September 19th in São Paulo and has limited spaces. Those interested in registering can access this link to guarantee entry.
Focus on products
In addition to the new products, the meeting had a special focus on Products. The company's teams presented the new products, as well as their methodologies for delivering the best experience to customers, both in terms of quality and agility.
One of the highlights is the ProcPro, Mercado Eletrônico's free quotation solution, which will allow buyers to search for suppliers outside their bases. A good initiative for both audiences.

In order not to lose the habit of recognizing the highlights of the quarter, the event ended with the ME TOPs of Q2-2019.
