Transparency and Equal Pay Report

Transparency that reinforces our commitment

In compliance with Law No. 14.611/2023, MTE Ordinance No. 3.714 and Decree No. 11.795/2023, we are releasing the pay equality report prepared electronically by the Ministry of Labor and Employment, based on the information made available on e-Social.

The report was structured using only the few large CBO (Brazilian Classification of Occupations) groups, aimed at organizing and aggregating the professions existing in Brazil, bringing together several different functions and hierarchical levels (disregarding, for example, job hierarchy and use of gradations such as junior, full and senior) to calculate the same metrics.

The CBOs name professions, describing, in general terms, the main activities of each one, as well as indicating requirements, academic training and experiences necessary to exercise each one, considered generically.

The CBO assists companies in classifying positions and functions, especially for filling e-Social and Caged positions, as well as subsidizing public labor market research and public employment and professional qualification policies.

The data in the equal pay report prepared by the Ministry of Labor and Employment are anonymous and collective, in compliance with the General Law on the Protection of Personal Data (Law No. 13/709).

The equal pay report published by the Ministry of Labor and Employment does not consider the particularities of each position, each area or the geographic location of each company, failing to make salary comparisons or remuneration criteria between women and men for functions of equal value or performed in the same position.

Mercado Eletrônico bases its salary practices on criteria such as career plans and periodic assessments, in addition to implementing actions that emphasize support for women.

We would like to remind you that this report will be prepared and published twice a year, and that updated data will probably be used in future versions. Having made these clarifications and complying with its legal obligation, Mercado Eletrônico publishes the report prepared and provided by the Ministry of Labor and Employment and reaffirms its commitment to gender equality and transparency, repudiating any form of discrimination.

We remain dedicated to improving our work environment to ensure fairness and inclusion for all our employees and society at large.
